Play Your Position with Mary Lou Kayser

Today I am going to teach about the fifth thing we cannot change based on David Richo’s book titled The Five Things We Cannot Change and The Happiness We Find by Embracing Them. If you’ve been listening for a while, you’ve probably caught the last several episodes. Each one builds on the other but I’ve also designed them so they stand on their own.

So far I’ve covered everything changes and ends, things don’t always go according to plan, life isn’t always fair, and pain is a part of life.

This final segment is called people are not loving and loyal all the time and if I’m being honest, this chapter is arguably the meatiest so I’ve decided to break it into two separate shows starting with part 1 today. I’ll frame the content for you and then in the next episode, I’ll get into some tactics you can use to work through the times in life when you’re facing this truth.
