Play Your Position with Mary Lou Kayser

Tracy Imm has been doing the corporate dance for decades and has more degrees and certificates than you’ll ever need from top rated schools and professional associations. She won’t bore you with all of it but if you want to know more about those details, visit her LinkedIn profile.

Tracy is here to train women to be better leaders. She has been leading people since she was the President of her Girl Scout Troop at age 11. She knows what it takes to motivate and inspire people to show up and do their best work. Obsessed with learning as much as she can about the topics of leadership and influence, she is humbled and grateful to have been named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 2017 and again in 2019 by The Daily Record for her body of work in the world.

Tracy is also a writer with two self-published books available on Amazon. Her podcast, Brave Girls with Tracy Imm, launched in 2018 after 2 full years of planning. She wanted to bring more positivity into the world and create a platform to showcase female leaders. She interviews the world’s most successful female leaders about their stories and what it means to be “brave.” You can access the show from iTunes, Google Play, iHeart Radio, Spotify, and Stitcher as well as directly from her website and social media accounts. Tracy attributes her success to INVESTING IN HERSELF AND DOING THE WORK and fundamentally believes that until you are ready to say YES to yourself, nothing will change. She lives outside of Baltimore, MD with her husband Don.

Tracy Imm’s MVP player Stats:

Tracy is a returning guest on the show from 2014. We hear what Tracy has been up to during our last conversation and we get to see where she is now on her playing field as a leadership coach, hosting retreats, podcasting, and more! The last five years have brought many changes to Tracy's life such as teaching at a college she was working for and working for a big government agency, as well as launching her podcast, "Brave Girls with Tracy Imm."

In this episode, we talk about Tracy’s personal transformation that led her to teach students how to prepare for their careers after college and give them valuable career advice. After speaking with numerous students and creating a consistent guide for students to succeed in their careers, Tracy decided to put all this content and strategy into her book, Conquer Shame and Claim Success.

Tracy shares with us how the idea of her book came into her universe and what process she used to make that journey happen. She talks about some of the changes she made to her attitude and mindset, along with her belief in and understanding of the Universal Law of Cause and Effect. Tracy talks about the power she has gained from taking the leap and investing in herself.
